  • Well came back from California interview... went ok... i was pretty shocked by the very basic questions... didn't know basic 3 contraindications to metformin...i think i need to quit pharmacy...

There are 2 positions, 1 in Vellejo (35 miles north of san francisco) and 1 in Napa Valley (30 minutes from Vallejo).  So i told them that it would be hard for me to be in Napa Valley since:
    1) I don't drink wine at all...
    2) I am not over 65 years old or retired
    3) Very far from San Francisco or at least the bay area

*sigh*  i don't even know if they liked me or not...
    GOODNESS WHAT AM I DOING???

Vallejo sounds ok, about 30 minutes or so from san fran, that means i could live in bay area and just commute to work... opposit traffic congestion (sweet).  I think i would really like the kind of work/clinical stuff i would do there...

Why i would want to live in California
    1) Eternal sunshine... kinda if you live in San Francisco
    2) i get to be tan
    3) lot of good asian food (seattle has good food too)
    4) gets me steps closer to getting my lifelong dream of owning a beach house (not really the money thing since it is high cost of living in Cali but the getting closer to San Diego and getting use to the Cali lifestyle)
5)also getting closer to marrying brad pitt...

    Why California turns me off:
    1) WAY too many asian, sometimes i like to feel a little more special...
    2) No winter/no snow
    3) I don't know many people there
    4) I have take the pharmacy boards (ALL OF IT) again... too much money (around $1,000)
5)Far from Chicago or my cousin in boston
    6) No winter clothese!
